The first 30 mins summary of the story

Since I tried in Library for 20 mins to see if I can play the DVDs version(Julie Taymor), but then I found out I couldn’t do that, so I found another version which is not the DVD’s version. I watched it for half an hour to acknowledge the overall story. It starts with the orchestra which a woman directs them. And then, a man appears with a huge monster(snake?I saw it as a snake), and then, he hopes someone could save him from danger. Then, he faints on the ground. A few minutes later, three women appear and defeat the monster to save the main character. They see the face of the main character and think he is so handsome, so they are going to tell the queen that should they bring the man back. But all of them want to stay with the man and don’t want to tell the queen, so the three of them left with disappointment. Then, A bird catcher appears on the stage. His job is the catch birds, and give it to the queen. Then, he fails to catch the bird in front of him. In the meantime, the main character comes up and asks him who is he and is he the one who saves him from danger. He lies and answers yes. The three ladies come up and give him some punishment because he lies to the main character. Then, they tell him is they save him from the huge monster. They also give him the picture of the daughter of the queen. He thinks the girl is the prettiest in the world--love at the first sight. He wants to find her, and then the three ladies say the princess is already caught by the demon, right near the castle. Afterward, the queen appears, and she hopes him can save her daughter from the demon because the demon steals her daughter from her. She is so sad that she cannot protect her daughter. The main character consents and the queen say if you save my daughter, she will marry you. The catcher comes, and doesn’t believe what he has seen, the main character tries to help him from the punishment, but them the three ladies say the queen forgives the catcher, and not allow him to lie again. They also give the prince gift to protect and against the demon, the magic flute. The bird catcher wants to leave here, but the three ladies said he has to help the main character to get to the demon’s castle and save the princess with him. They also give the bird catcher a gift as well. They ask where can they find the road to the house, then, the ladies give them the three boys that would follow them along and lead the way to the castle.
